Welcome
With over six million NGO's and non-profit organizations working on every possible issue, most social and environmental problems have been tackled somewhere in the world. Unfortunately, many organizations with great programs lack the means to reach everyone who needs them.
Launching of ICT Training Centre
Africa Change International (ACI) officially launched its ICT Training Centre on Wednesday 22nd July, 2009 with an ultimate aim of providing transferable skills in computer literacy to persons particularly children with little or no access to computer usage and application. The Programme commenced at exactly half an hour past mid-day.
George Laing of the Kyekyekule fame cut the sod to launch the centre amidst claps and shouts from the on looking dignitaries and guests. Uncle George was of the opinion that ACI, though new and young, has by this initiative, shown determined motivation to alleviate extreme poverty among underprivileged children in this community of Ghana.
The training centre officially opened with eleven (11) desktop fully installed computers and accessories in an air-condition environment, IT volunteer tutors, internet services and a place of convenience.
